Flow Cytometry

Flow Cytometry is a laser-based technology that allows for cell counting, cell sorting, protein engineering and the detection of biomarkers.

HNL Lab Medicine’s Flow Cytometry employs advanced eight-color immunophenotyping to identify cell surface antigens and intracellular proteins in samples of peripheral blood, bone marrow, lymphoid tissue and cell-containing fluids. Our reports incorporate information on multiple cell parameters, including cell surface antigens, intracellular proteins and DNA content.

Our Flow Cytometry services complement those offered by our comprehensive Anatomic Pathology experts. The close collaboration between our board-certified hematopathologist and experienced, highly skilled Flow Cytometrist helps ensure optimal quality control and accurate results.
