HNL Lab Medicine Artwork Contest Celebrates Healthcare Heroes
Throughout the month of May, HNL Lab Medicine, a regional leader in high-quality, innovative laboratory medicine services, announced an artwork contest for children in grades K-8. The goal of this contest was to promote awareness of the healthcare field, encourage creativity, and include a valuable connection to the community in each of HNL’s patient service centers.
Dr. Malik received his MD from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Malik completed his surgical pathology fellowship at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. He is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. A former member of the Medical Record and Utilization Committee and associate AP/CP pathologist at Schuylkill Medical Center, Dr. Malik’s research and publications focus on Epstein-Barr viral infection, pilomatrix carcinoma of the thoracic spine, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and inflammatory pseudopolyps in non-inflammatory bowel disease patients.
