We'll be selecting winners in three different categories:
Most Creative: Encourage their imagination to run wild! Whether they dream up a world of whimsical creatures or design intricate patterns inspired by microscopic structures, we're looking for artwork that showcases the most original and imaginative ideas.
Most Realistic: Show off their knowledge of science and attention to detail by creating artwork that looks like it could be found under a real microscope. From accurate depictions of microscopic organisms to realistic textures and colors, winners in this category will strive to create artwork that captures the essence of the microscopic world.
Most Expressive: Encourage contestants to use their artwork to tell a story or convey a message about the microscopic world they've imagined. Whether it's a scene bursting with life and energy or a tranquil landscape filled with unseen beauty, winners in this category will submit artwork that transports us into their imaginative vision.
Each age group (K-2, 3-5, 6-8) will have a winner selected in each category.
