Announcing the Winners: Children's Art Contest!
The moment is finally here! We are delighted to announce the winners of our Annual Children's Art Contest! This year’s theme, “Design Your Own Lab Coat,” inspired budding artists to unleash their creativity and imagination, resulting in an array of vibrant and innovative designs.
The contest, aimed at encouraging young minds to explore the world of science and art, received an overwhelming response from children across the community. Entrants were invited to envision their own lab coat designs, merging elements of scientific exploration with artistic expression.
The judging panel faced the challenging task of selecting the winners among the exceptional submissions. After careful deliberation, the following talented artists emerged victorious:
K-2 Category: Lydia Zink, Parker Altshuler, Zoey Page
3-5 Category: Addison-Faye Everman, Kitara Miller, Layla Schmidt
6-8 Category: Angelea D’Agata, Lennon Hudock, Xavier Beuno
These remarkable young artists will be rewarded for their exceptional talent and effort. The winners will receive an educational membership of their choosing to the Da Vinci Center or Crayola Experience, offering them the opportunity to further nurture their creative abilities and engage in enriching activities. Additionally, each winner will be presented with a specially designed contest-themed t-shirt, showcasing their artistic achievement.
To celebrate their accomplishments and inspire others, the artwork of the winners will be prominently displayed in select HNL Lab Medicine Patient Service Centers across the region. Patients, visitors, and members of the community will have the chance to admire the young artists’ captivating designs while awaiting their laboratory services.
