Martin K. Till
President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Martin Till serves as our President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of HNL Lab Medicine (HNL).
Previously, Martin held the position of CEO of Adept Group, the leading packaging consultancy in the United States. He served as President and remains a shareholder of Virtual Graphics, LLC, a leading technology company in the direct thermal material business, and was the Regional President of J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc., a real estate development and design/build company in the region.
From 1998-2012, Mr. Till was Chief Executive Officer, President and Publisher of The Express-Times and lehighvalleylive.com. Also serving as President of Penn Jersey Advance, the parent company to The Express-Times from 2004-2012, overseeing six daily newspapers, 26 weekly publications and regional websites throughout eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from North American University. Mr. Till was a non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Army.
In 2005, Mr. Till was a founding Board member of Team Capital Bank (now Provident Bank).

Mr. Till previously served on the Boards of Lafayette Ambassador Bank (Fulton Bank), The Pennsylvania Society, United Way of the Lehigh Valley, and the Pennsylvania News Media Association.
Mr. Till lives in Coopersburg with his wife, Tiffany, and has two children.

Warren W Erdmann
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Warren Erdmann serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at HNL Lab Medicine, bringing over 38 years of experience and extensive expertise to our team. Warren’s ability to diagnose and improve operational efficiency is foundational to accelerating our growth strategy as we expand our genetics and molecular capabilities. Warren is solution-oriented, a great listener and collaborator.
Warren joined HNL Lab Medicine as interim VP of Lab Operations in June 2021. Bringing his knowledge in scaling laboratory infrastructure and operations. Recognized as a strategic business partner, strong leader, and effective change manager. He was appointed Chief Lab Operations Officer in Sept 2021.
Warren began his career with MetPath Labs, in 1982. He started as a facilities maintenance mechanic. MetPath later became Quest Diagnostics. Warren later assumed the responsibility for Distribution and warehouse operations.
Warren left Quest and joined Medilabs in 1996 where he became Vice President of Operations. He oversaw purchasing, logistics, client service, phlebotomy and many other parts of lab operations. Medilabs was purchased by BioReference in April 1998, whereby he assumed the position of VP of Operations for the merged laboratory. He continued to perform all functions for the lab operations and in 2015 was named Senior VP and Chief Operating Officer for the third largest national laboratory with 1 billion in revenues.
He was a key member of the Executive team in which they sustained rapid growth of 20 consecutive years with at least 20% annual compounded growth. Warren oversaw and managed all area of the Lab operations including, Laboratory Operations, Phlebotomy, Customer service, Logistics, remote lab operations, material management, Operations Excellence, Referral testing, pre-analytic processing, and safety and facilities. At their peak they serviced over 50,000 patients a day. The BioReference team is credited for successful growth by building an operation focused on continued improvement, beating the competition providing better service consistently for patients and customers.
Warren played a key role with due diligence and integration for 15 acquisitions. They expanded significant remote laboratory operations on California, Texas, Florida, and Maryland. Played a major role expanding footprint and capabilities of GeneDx. Warren established professional and personal credibility, trust, and a sense of team thought out the entire organization. Known to all employees as an engaged, approachable leader strongly committed to the highest quality patient care, and customer service. Warren most recently was assigned a position to Genesis Healthcare regarding the life safety survey for a Nursing home operation in Cape May NJ.

Jordan Olson
Chair of Pathology at LVHN and Medical Director of HNL Lab Medicine
MD
Prior to joining HNL Lab Medicine and LVHN, Dr. Olson was Division Chief, Clinical Pathology Informatics at Geisinger Medical Laboratories. He served as a faculty member in the Geisinger Health System Clinical Informatics fellowship program and the Geisinger Medical Laboratory residency program.
He is a member of numerous professional organizations including the College of American Pathologists, American Society for Clinical Pathology, Pennsylvania Association of Pathologists, American Association of Blood Banks, and Association of Pathology Informatics.
Dr. Olson’s research has been featured in numerous peer-reviewed journals and national presentations in topics including:
Improved blood utilization strategies using informatics-based interventions
Computerized physician order entry and automated decisions support
Platelet rich plasma for tendon repair
Solid phase antibody testing in obstetric patients

Lisa W. Anthony
Senior Executive, Health Systems Partnerships
MS, MT, DLM
As Senior Executive, Health Systems Partnerships, Lisa Anthony is responsible for continuing the significant growth and geographical expansion of HNL Lab Medicine. She oversees the evaluation of partnership opportunities and strategies that includes establishing joint ventures, laboratory management agreements, and laboratory acquisitions.
Beginning as a technologist for Lehigh Valley Health Network’s hospital laboratory, Lisa has held various progressive leadership positions as HNL Lab Medicine evolved. She implemented the Customer Care and Marketing divisions and launched the Flow Cytometry, Molecular Diagnostics, and Cytogenetics laboratories.
As Vice President and then Senior Vice President of Operations, Lisa merged the clinical and support divisions at HNL Lab Medicine. Through the provision of quality Laboratory testing, HNL Lab Medicine continued to grow, resulting in her team expanding to more than 900 dedicated employees. In 2015, Lisa championed the architecture and orchestrated the move to a 102,000 Sq. Ft. laboratory. During this move and beyond, Lisa and her leadership team continued to provide excellent service to those patients and providers we serve by maintaining operations at multiple hospital-based testing laboratories, more than 55 Patient Centers, and a mobile phlebotomy service in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
After earning her undergraduate degree in Laboratory Science at Penn State University, Lisa also earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Organizational Management at Misericordia University. She is credentialed as a medical technologist and holds certification as a Diplomat in Laboratory Management from the American Society of Clinical Pathology.

Renu Bajaj
Associate Medical Director, Genomics
PhD FACMG
Renu Bajaj, Ph.D. FACMG, serves as the Associate Medical Director, Genomics. Dr. Bajaj received her Ph.D. in cytogenetics from the University of Delhi. She completed ABMGG Fellowships in clinical cytogenetics/genomics and molecular genetics/genomics at Yale University School of Medicine, Cytogenetics Lab in New Haven, CT, and Hartford Hospital. She is board-certified in laboratory genetics and genomics, and clinical cytogenetics.
Prior to joining HNL Lab Medicine, Dr. Bajaj held various positions such as Director, Clinical Cytogenetics and Genomics for St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, PA; Director, Clinical Cytogenetics for Integrated Oncology LabCorp Specialty Testing Group in NY, NY; Director, Clinical Cytogenetics for Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA; Assistant Director, Clinical Cytogenetics for CSI Laboratories in Alpharetta, GA; and Supervisor, Cytogenetics Lab for Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT.

Kerry Kocher Brown
Medical Director, Genomics.

Kerry Brown, Ph.D., is the Genomics Medical Director at HNL Lab Medicine. She earned her Ph.D. in genetics from Harvard Medical School where she investigated genetic causes of hearing loss. She completed a fellowship in clinical laboratory genetics through the Harvard Medical School Genetics Training Program, which included molecular genetics training at the Partners Healthcare Laboratory for Molecular Medicine, cytogenetics training at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Cytogenetics Laboratory, and research in the field of cardiovascular genetics. Dr. Brown is board certified in clinical molecular genetics and clinical cytogenetics by the American Board of Medical Genetics.
She was previously a laboratory director at Connective Tissue Gene Tests (CTGT), which specialized in clinical molecular testing for rare genetic diseases and was an international leader in genetic testing for connective tissue disorders and skeletal dysplasias. Dr. Brown currently serves as the chair of the ClinGen Skeletal disorders variant curation expert panel and the co-chair of the ClinGen Skeletal disorders gene curation expert panel.
Dr. Brown is a fellow of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics (ACMG) and has served on the ACMG Laboratory Quality Assurance Committee, where she assisted in the development of guidelines for interpretation of copy number variation and for implementation of next-generation sequencing technologies in clinical laboratories.

Jessica Bargilione
Vice President of Marketing
MS, MBA
Jess has a B.S. in Education from East Stroudsburg University, a Master in Psychology from University of Phoenix and an MBA in Digital Marketing from Rutgers University.
As the Vice President of Marketing for HNL Lab Medicine, Jess is responsible for leading the marketing team as they work to showcase the exceptional capabilities of HNL Lab Medicine as we expand into additional markets and locations.

Rick Cardona
Vice President of Support Operations
In 2012, Rick was promoted to Administrator of Support Services. Due to HNL Lab Medicine’s significant growth, Rick led the design and subsequent relocation to a new 102,000 sq. ft, state of the art, diagnostics laboratory facility. During his career at HNL Lab Medicine, Rick has been instrumental in providing access to the patients we serve by opening 40 new patient centers.
“I am delighted to be given this opportunity,” said Rick. “This promotion allows me the opportunity to use all my experience and expertise to align our support operations for the future growth of HNL Lab Medicine.”
Before joining HNL Lab Medicine, Rick spent 21 years at Lehigh Valley Health Network. Rick served as Director, Logistical Support Services for 15 years. Among his many achievements included the implementation and management of a newly created centralized patient transport service, the development, and implementation of organizational-wide supply distribution and logistical support programs, mailroom automation, and printshop services.
Taking a break from the demands of running HNL Lab Medicine facilities and support operations, Rick enjoys spoiling his two dogs, golfing, swimming, pheasant hunting, trap and skeet shooting and target shooting. In addition, gardening and landscaping are relaxing pastimes.

David M. Confalone
Vice President of Finance
David M. Confalone, CPA, MBA, serves as Vice President of Finance at HNL Lab Medicine. He received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania and his Master of Business Administration from Alvernia University in Reading, Pennsylvania. He is licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a Certified Public Accountant. David is also General Electric Green Belt and LEAN Certified.
Prior to joining HNL Lab Medicine, he served in various positions including Chief Financial and Operating Officer for Advanced Dermatology Associates LTD in Allentown, Pennsylvania; Chief Financial Officer for Jaindl Companies in Orefield, Pennsylvania; Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance and Administration for RPA Associates in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania; and Global Director, Finance and Cash Management for Penske in Reading, Pennsylvania.
He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Angela Connell
Vice President of Human Resources

Angela lives in Nazareth with her husband and 3 boys (ages 13, 10, 6). I would list what she does in her spare time but between work, school, sporting events and moving 3 kids around to practice, she doesn’t have any.

Ada Gazzillo
Vice President of Core Lab Operations.
Ada brings over 30 years of experience from BioReference Laboratories and Quest Diagnostics under her belt, Ada brings exceptional expertise to HNL Lab Medicine.
Ada began her career in the Toxicology department, and has since served in various roles, including Vice President of Pre-Analytical Operations, Director of Processing, and Manager of Client Services. Ada holds a Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification along with Data Analytics for Lean & Six Sigma Practitioners, which drives her passion for creating efficient, effective solutions and driving business growth. Ada obtained a Bachelor of Science from New Jersey State University and participates as a College of American Pathologists (CAP) Inspector.
Ada has a wealth of experience in the lab operations field, having built a solid reputation for delivering excellent client service, ensuring quality results, and providing for a healthy bottom line. She is highly skilled in developing and implementing business strategies to support financial and operational goals. In addition, her expertise in automating manual systems, creating department metrics, and leading process improvement initiatives will be a great asset to our team.

Amy Hoherchak
Vice President of Clinical Lab ACL Operations
Amy Hoherchak, MT (ASCP), currently serves as Vice President of Clinical Lab ACL Operations at HNL Lab Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from the University of Scranton in Scranton, PA. Amy completed further training programs such as LEAN Silver Training at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, MI and the Six Sigma Green Belt certification at Villanova University in Philadelphia, PA.
Prior to joining HNL Lab Medicine, she served in various leadership positions including Operations Director, Northeast Region for Geisinger Medical Laboratories in Wilkes Barre, PA and Laboratory Operations Manager for Lehigh Valley Hospital-Pocono in East Stroudsburg, PA. She has served in numerous positions within HNL Lab Medicine including Operations Director, Central Laboratory; and Manager, Automation and Specimen Management.

Angelique M. Hunt
Vice President of Operational Excellence
Angelique M. Hunt, MHA, currently serves as Vice President of Operational Excellence at HNL Lab Medicine. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Master of Health Administration from University of Phoenix. Angelique completed further certification programs such as Six Sigma Black Belt Certification, Agile Certification, and a Certificate in Human Resources Management.
Prior to joining HNL Lab Medicine, Angelique served in various leadership positions including Administrator, Performance Improvement Project Management Office; Director, Project Management Office, Performance Improvement Team; and Senior Project Manager, Continuous Improvement for Lehigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, PA; and Senior Technical Quality and Process Manager for AT&T in Bedminster, NJ.

Brian Fanning
Vice President of Patient Experience
MBA
In November 2021, Brian accepted the role of Vice President of Patient Experience for HNL Lab Medicine. Brian is responsible for the growth and scale of the company's Patient Service Center (PSC) business division, including the overall management, operation, and financial performance of over 60 locations throughout Pennsylvania.
Brian lives in Bethlehem Township with his wife and two teenage sons. When not at the office, he most likely can be found at a hockey rink watching his son’s play for the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Youth hockey organization, coaching, officiating or playing.

Edward L. Mazuchowski
Chief, Forensic Pathology
MD, PhD
Dr. Mazuchowski is the Chief, Forensic Pathology of Forensic Pathology Associates and Chief, Division of Forensic Medicine and Pathology, Department of Pathology, Lehigh Valley Health Network.
Dr. Mazuchowski received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in Mechanical Engineering with honors followed by a Master of Science and Engineering and PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania investigating the biomechanical properties of the human spinal cord. He received his MD from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, followed by an anatomic/clinical pathology residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center/ San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. He completed his Forensic Pathology Fellowship at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, Baltimore, MD and the Office of the Armed Forces Medical Examiner, Bethesda, MD.
In 2021, Dr. Mazuchowski retired from the United States Air Force. During his military career, he held various positions including Director, Office of the Armed Forces Medical Examiner, Program Director of the Department of Defense's Forensic Pathology Fellowship, Director of Special Projects, Education, Analysis & Research for the Armed Forces Medical Examiner System, Deputy Armed Forces Medical Examiner and Chief, Forensic Services at San Antonio Military Medical Center.
Dr. Mazuchowski is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic, Clinical and Forensic Pathology. He is a Fellow, member of the Board of Directors and certified inspector for the National Association of Medical Examiners, Fellow of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences, editorial board member of the Journal of Forensic Sciences and American Journal of Forensic Medicine and Pathology, on the Board of Trustees of the NAME Foundation, and a lifetime member of the Special Operations Medical Association. He has multiple publications in the areas of survivable injury/preventable death, mass fatalities, procedures for death in space, post-mortem computed tomography, and utilizing information from forensic pathology examinations to decrease morbidity and mortality.

Dr. Caitlin Murphy is Clinical Laboratory Director of HNL Lab Medicine.
Dr. Murphy is board certified by the American Board of Medical Microbiology (ABMM). Prior to joining HNL, Dr. Murphy was an Assistant Professor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Department of Pathology and Microbiology and served as the Assistant Director of Clinical Microbiology at Nebraska Medicine. During this time, she also served as the CLIA Director for the Wyoming Public Health Laboratory.
Dr. Murphy received her Master of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and earned her Ph.D. in Microbiology at the University of Iowa. She completed her clinical fellowship in Microbiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Nebraska Public Health Laboratory and is a member of the American Society of Microbiology (ASM), College of American Pathologists (CAP), and the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI).

Jeff Wisotzkey, Ph.D., HCLD, CC, currently serves as HNL Lab Medicine’s Clinical Laboratory Scientific Director. Dr. Wisotzkey received his doctoral degree in molecular biology from the University of Houston and he completed postdoctoral training at Pennsylvania State University’s Hershey Medical Center. He is a board-certified High Complexity Laboratory Director (HCLD) and Clinical Consultant (CC).
During his career, Dr. Wisotzkey has held various senior positions with clinical laboratories including Chief Scientific Officer and Clinical Laboratory Director for Diatherix-Eurofins and Madison Core Laboratories in Huntsville, Alabama; Vice President, Molecular Pathology and Laboratory Director for Genomind in King of Prussia, PA; Director of Molecular Pathology and Technical Director of Laboratory Operations for Central PA Alliance Laboratory in York, PA; and Technical Director, Molecular Diagnostics and Research for York Hospital in York, PA. He has facilitated the build out and implementation of several additional clinical laboratory services in smaller laboratories around the country.
Dr. Wisotzkey is an avid student and teacher of leadership and leadership communications. He also serves on numerous professional advisory boards and industry committees. He returned to HNL Lab Medicine following a four year hiatus during which he developed complex laboratory programs in Huntsville and Nashville. He previously served as Clinical Laboratory Director and Scientific Officer at HNL Lab Medicine.

Dr. Mini George Abraham received her MD from Trivandrum Medical College in Kerala, India. She completed her pathology residency and hematopathology fellowship at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. She is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with added board certification in hematopathology. She is published in the areas of neuroendocrine carcinoma, Von Recklinghausen disease, and T-cell lymphoma. Dr. Abraham has served as a laboratory inspector for the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and previously held an academic appointment as assistant professor of pathology at Drexel University College of Medicine.

Dr. Kirsten Bellucci attended Muhlenberg College (Allentown, PA) where she dual-majored in Biology and Theatre Arts, was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, graduated Summa Cum Laude with both a B.S. and a B.A., and was recognized with the Undergraduate Merit Award for exemplary character, personality, scholarship, and outstanding achievement.
She studied medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Bronx, NY); taking an extra year to complete a post-Sophomore year Pathology Fellowship. Upon graduating with her M.D., she was also awarded the Irving M. Ratner Award for Excellence in Pathology.
She traveled to the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, PA) to do residencies in both Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology, and then remained at Penn to complete a fellowship in Surgical Pathology where she received the prestigious H.T. Enterline Fellowship Award.
Dr. Bellucci's Dermatopathology Fellowship training was done at Harvard University's Combined Dermatopathology Program (Boston, MA) which included instruction at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Brigham & Women's Hospital under the tutelage of many beloved dermatopathology "greats" (Martin C. Mihm, Artur Zembowicz, Steven R. Tahan, George Murphy, and Lyn Duncan).
Dr. Bellucci is board certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology and by the American Boards of Pathology and Dermatology in Dermatopathology. Chief, Section of Cytopathology. Dr. Dwyer-Joyce received her MD from the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. She completed pathology residency at Medical College of Pennsylvania/Hahnemann University Hospital. She completed fellowship training in cytopathology at Hahnemann University Hospital and surgical pathology fellowship training at the University of Pennsylvania’s Pennsylvania Hospital, both in Philadelphia.
Following this she was appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Prior to joining Health Network Laboratories, she was director of cytopathology at Pennsylvania Hospital. She has taught medical students and residents at Pennsylvania Hospital and the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania. She is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology with added subspecialty board certification in Cytopathology.

After receiving her M.D. in Hungary, Dr. Farkas completed her residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, an affiliated teaching hospital of Washington University School of Medicine in St. Luis. She completed fellowship trainings in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology at Washington University. She also holds a certificate degree from the Wharton School of Business.
Before joining HNL Lab Medicine, Dr. Farkas served as chair of pathology at Phoenixville Hospital. Her previous faculty experience includes Temple University, Pennsylvania Hospital, and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Diplomat of the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical pathology with an added certification in Cytopathology.

Dr. Supriya Kuruvilla received her MBBS degree from Government Medical College (BJMC), Pune, India and her MD from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India. She then completed a four-year residency in Anatomic Pathology at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, TX.
Dr. Kuruvilla received fellowship training in Forensic Pathology at the Harris County medical examiner's office in Houston, TX and Pediatric Pathology at Texas Children's Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX.
She is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic, Forensic, and Pediatric Pathology. She is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists (CAP) and National Association of Medical Examiners (NAME).

Devika Lal

Devika Lal, MD, currently serves as a pathologist. Dr. Lal received her medical degree from the Temple University School of Medicine, and she completed a combined anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Drexel University College of Medicine/Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. She completed a fellowship in blood banking/transfusion medicine at the New York Blood Center and Columbia University Medical Center in New York. Dr. Lal is board certified in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology and Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine.
Prior to joining HNL Lab Medicine, she held a faculty position at Rutgers University Robert Wood Johnson (RWJ) Medical School in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Additionally, Dr. Lal worked as a transfusion medicine pathologist at RWJ University Hospital and served as Director of Transfusion Medicine at both University Hospital in Newark, NJ and CareWell Health in East Orange, NJ.
During her undergraduate years, she worked at the Center for Neurodegenerative Disease Research, where she studied a transgenic mouse model of tau pathology in astrocytes leading to neurodegeneration.

Dr. Elsie Lee received her medical degree from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. and completed her anatomic and clinical pathology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA, followed by an hematopathology fellowship at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. She completed her transfusion medicine/blood banking fellowships at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and the University Hospital at Stony Brook in NY. She is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, Hematology and Blood Banking/Transfusion Medicine.
Dr. Lee is a member of the Association for the Advancement of Blood & Biotherapies (AABB), Mayo Clinic Alumni Association, American Society for Clinical Pathology, and a past member of the Residency Program Directors Section of the Association of Pathology Chairs. She is an Assistant Professor with appointment in the Department of Medical Education and Department of Pathology and Cell Biology at USF Health Morsani College of Medicine. Dr. Malik received his MD from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Malik completed his surgical pathology fellowship at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia. He is certified by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. A former member of the Medical Record and Utilization Committee and associate AP/CP pathologist at Schuylkill Medical Center, Dr. Malik’s research and publications focus on Epstein-Barr viral infection, pilomatrix carcinoma of the thoracic spine, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and inflammatory pseudopolyps in non-inflammatory bowel disease patients.
Dr. Malik has been appointed as the Educational Director because of his interest in educating students, residents, and colleagues in pathology. He has worked on developing the curriculum for fourth year USF medical students who are interested in pursuing a career in pathology.
Dr. Malik also has an interest in digital pathology and is currently working on a team to initiate digital pathology into the day to day workflow at HNL.

Abir L Mukherjee

Dr. Mukherjee is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology, with subspecialty board certification in Neuropathology.
As a native of India and a graduate of Calcutta Medical College, Dr. Mukherjee started his career in beautiful Pokhara, Nepal, at the foothills of the Himalayas, teaching medical students and practicing pathology. His interest in research brought him to the Cleveland Clinic, where he was a research fellow for years.
After his residency in Michigan, Dr. Mukherjee completed a fellowship in Neuropathology at The Methodist Hospital/MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston in 2010. This was followed by a move to Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, where he practiced Neuropathology and general surgical pathology from 2010-2018. Dr. Mukherjee comes to HNL Lab Medicine from Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan, where he has been the section Chief of Neuropathology since 2018.
Dr. Mukherjee and his family reside in suburban Philadelphia. He and his wife are avid travelers, foodies, and music lovers.
Dr. Mukherjee loves sitar music and plays the instrument himself. Both his wife and son work at the University of Pennsylvania.

Previously he served as CEO of Adept Group/Adept Packaging, the largest packaging consultancy and staffing company in the United States and Europe. Mr. Till served as President and remains a shareholder of Virtual Graphics, LLC, a leading technology company in the direct thermal material business, and was Regional President of J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc., a real estate development and design/build company in the region.
From 1998-2012, Mr. Till was Chief Executive Officer, President and Publisher of The Express-Times and lehighvalleylive.com. Also serving as President of Penn Jersey Advance, the parent company to The Express-Times from 2004-2012, overseeing six daily newspapers, 26 weekly publications and regional websites throughout eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from North American University. Mr. Till was a non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Army.
In 2005, Mr. Till was a founding Board member of Team Capital Bank (now Provident Bank).

Michael Pasquale

Dr. Pasquale is a graduate of Bethany College where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. Dr. Pasquale completed his internship and General Surgery residency at Georgetown University Hospital and then completed a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics.
Dr. Pasquale is certified by the American Board of Surgery in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. In addition, Dr. Pasquale is a member of the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma where he has served on the Executive Committee and as Chief of Region III, the American Association for the Surgery of Trauma where he served on the Outcomes Committee, the Pennsylvania Committee on Trauma where he chaired the Ad Hoc Committee on Site Survey Outcomes Measurements, and the Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma where he served as President and a member of the EAST Foundation Board. His research interests are evidence-based outcomes measurement and the development of evidence-based guidelines.

John M. Pierro

John Pierro is Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN), a position he has held since 2021. He oversees operations at the health network’s hospitals and ambulatory locations, and leads the facilities and construction team. Mr. Pierro leads the development of and is responsible for carrying out health network goals, objectives, plans and policies, and ensures LVHN services are delivered in accordance with quality and financial standards. He drives programs and activities to promote a positive environment of professionalism, and works to engage colleagues and build talent to meet the needs of the health network and community.
A results-focused health care executive, Mr. Pierro has leveraged outstanding relationship-based leadership, a passion for excellence in quality outcomes, hospital operating performance, business competencies, innovation and interpersonal attributes to lead award-winning health systems, academic medical centers and community hospitals. He is the only non-physician to receive the Vision and Partnership Award, presented by a group of 60 independent community physicians
During his 25-year career, Mr. Pierro served in the Cabinet of two New Jersey Governors, achieved Leapfrog No. 1 ranking in patient experience and national recognition for Leapfrog “Top 50 and Top 100 Hospitals,” completed more than $2 billion in design and construction projects, acquired and integrated three community hospitals, led market growth, the recruitment of more than 500 new primary care providers, specialists and surgeons, and expanded ambulatory services by opening more than 100 new physician practices and urgent care centers in locations that give patients convenient access to services and a seamless experience across the health system.
Mr. Pierro is a graduate of Bloomsburg University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance. He studied Health Care and Population Health at Princeton University/Woodrow Wilson School and earned his MBA at The John Hopkins University.
Mr. Pierro and his family are passionate about volunteering in the community. They have supported food pantries, homeless outreach, the improvement of housing and recreation, and hospital events focused on underprivileged children, homelessness and victims of substance abuse.
