HNL Lab Medicine today announced a strategic leadership alignment that places oversight of its Information Technology (IT) function under Chief Administrative Officer Angela Connell, PHR, MSHRM, MBA, effective March 19, 2026.

This transition reflects HNL Lab Medicine’s continued focus on aligning its digital capabilities with operational priorities and long-term growth strategy. As technology plays an increasingly central role in healthcare delivery and organizational performance, this structure is designed to further integrate IT with the enterprise.

Connell, who currently oversees key administrative and operational functions, brings a strong track record of aligning people, processes, and strategy across the organization. Her leadership in driving organizational effectiveness and cross-functional collaboration positions her well to guide IT in a way that supports both innovation and execution.

“Aligning our IT function under Angela’s leadership is a natural next step in our evolution,” said Martin Till, President and CEO. “Technology is a critical enabler of how we operate and grow. Angela’s ability to connect strategy, operations, and workforce priorities makes her exceptionally well-suited to ensure our technology investments deliver meaningful impact across the organization.”

In this structure, Eric Rounds, Vice President of Information Technology, will report to Connell and continue to lead day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure, and innovation efforts. His leadership and technical expertise remain central to advancing HNL Lab Medicine’s digital capabilities.

“I’m excited to partner even more closely with Eric and the IT team as we continue to evolve how technology supports our organization,” said Connell. “By strengthening the alignment between IT and our broader operational strategy, we can accelerate innovation, enhance efficiency, and better support our teams and the communities we serve.”

This leadership alignment reinforces HNL Lab Medicine’s commitment to innovation, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering high-quality, accessible laboratory services.
