Collection Instructions

Collect specimens 12 hours after initiating therapy for arrhythmia prophylaxis, then every 24 hours thereafter.
Obtain specimens every 12 hours when cardiac or hepatic insufficiency exists.

Transport Instructions

Transport to the laboratory refrigerated.

Causes for Rejection

Specimens collected in separator tubes will be rejected.
