Collection Instructions
Call customer care for collection arrangements. Special collection kit required, instructions for collection are provided in the kit.
Processing and Submission Instructions
  • Testing is done at Cedar Crest Hospital laboratory. Specimen must arrive in the lab within 4 hours of collection.
  • Specimen must be walked to the lab, do not use the pneumatic tube system.
  • Do not centrifuge or aliquot, specimen must remain as whole blood in original tubes.
  • Sample must be protected from cold temperatures.
