Collection Instructions
  1. Collect 2 lavender top (EDTA) tubes via venipuncture.
  2. Fill tubes completely with whole blood.
Processing and Submission Instructions

A TJU Molecular Requisition must be submitted with the specimen.

  1. Transport 6 mL of whole blood in the original collection containers (3 mL per tube).
  2. Maintain specimen at room temperature.
  3. Address the specimen transport bag as: "Attn. Molecular Lab".
Transport Instructions

Transport to the laboratory at room temperature.
