Renal tubular dysgenesis (RTD; MIM 267430) is an autosomal recessive disorder caused by mutations in the ACE, AGT, AGTR1 and REN genes. It is a severe renal tubular development disorder resulting in fetal anuric renal failure, oligohydramnios, stillbirth or perinatal death from respiratory failure. Additional features include Potter facies, clubfeet, microcephaly, and skull ossification defects. The renal tubular dysgenesis NGS panel consists of four genes: ACE, AGT, AGTR1 and REN. |
