  1. Collect a lavender top (EDTA) tube via venipuncture.
Processing and Submission Instructions

**Requires a Cincinnati Children's Test Requisition Form**

  1. Separate plasma from cells within 24 hours of collection.
  2. Aliquot 0.5 mL of plasma into two aliquot tubes (1 mL total) and freeze.

Referral Testing:

  • Ship samples First Overnight.
  • Email CBDILabs@cchmc.org the tracking information for the sample being sent.
Transport Instructions

Transport to the laboratory frozen.
