Test Code
TCPCR
Test Name
T Cell Gene Rearrangement
Included Tests
  • Clonal T-cell receptor gamma (TCRG) gene rearrangements by PCR of variable and joining regions
  • Qualitative detection of monoclonal T-cell receptor (TCR) beta gene rearrangements by PCR and fragment analysis
Expected Turnaround Time
7 - 10 business days
Clinical Utility
  • T-cell receptor (TCR) gene rearrangement analysis is commonly used for determining clonality in the diagnostic evaluation of T-cell lymphomas and leukemias.
  • TCR gamma and beta gene rearrangement analysis together will detect most clonal TCR rearrangements in patients with T-cell Lymphomas/leukemias.
  • Results should be interpreted in clinical context for diagnosis of T-cell lymphoproliferative disorders.
