Patient Service Centers

Our medical journey often begins with a phlebotomist. These skilled professionals are the face of HNL Lab Medicine. Phlebotomists interact with every patient and collect each specimen needed for processing. For some of us, that takes place at a Patient Service Center.The friendly face you need when you aren’t feeling well? The hand you hold while you get a blood draw? We can thank our gentle, professional phlebotomists for their care and consideration during the collection process. Their patience and kindness create a pleasant collection experience- even for our loved ones that are afraid of blood draws or who aren’t feeling very well.

HNL @Home – Homebound

Patient Service Centers aren’t the only place our phlebotomists show compassion. With services like HNL @Home, our mobile phlebotomists travel right to your doorstep to provide caring, convenient service. Our mobile phlebotomists visit patients who are unable to travel to a Patient Service Center; their kind words and bright smiles make all the difference to these patients.

HNL @Home – Concierge

Medically homebound patients are not the only patients who can take advantage of the HNL @Home service. We know that getting bloodwork can be inconvenient. This option gives you the flexibility that you need to make your health a priority. Patients take advantage of HNL @Home for many different reasons. Whatever your reason, we are happy to help you complete your lab testing in the comfort of your own home.

Specimen Handling

After specimens are collected at a Patient Service Center or by our mobile phlebotomists, they make the journey to our core lab for processing. Our couriers play an essential role in getting timely, accurate lab results for our patients. Each specimen is handled appropriately during shipping to ensure viability. Couriers drive many miles in all types of weather to deliver samples directly to the laboratory. HNL Lab Medicine has also invested in the latest automated technology to increase efficiency and keep the lab operating at high standards as our service area expands.
